My goal was to capture a visual narrative that celebrates vibrant, high-fashion energy set against an architectural backdrop rich in texture and history. Shot on location at The Luanda Ship Graveyard (Cemitério de Navios) on Santiago Beach, just north of the capital, this story leans into the interplay of bold, structural silhouettes and the warm, radiant light of the Angolan coast. The skeletal, decaying forms of abandoned vessels become a striking, post‑apocalyptic stage, offering an intentional, geometric counterpoint to the fluid movement and brilliant textiles of the wardrobe, and creating a powerful dialogue between ruin and refinement.
